MEET THECREATECO / ARTISTS & TECH NERDS

Here to
create.
Freely.

We’re a group of artists and tech nerds building the tools we want to make art with.

Images. Objects. Music. Films. Whatever the idea becomes, we want artists of every kind to have room to explore it.

Why we’re building this

Four creative disciplines. One restless idea. Promotional concept artwork.

01 / WHAT WE BELIEVE

Creativity shouldn’t
have an off switch.

Like many artists, we’ve made a lot of our work in tools like Photoshop. We’ve also felt the frustration of creativity depending on a subscription, a connection, or a workflow that gets in the way.

A missed bill shouldn’t mean a missed idea. Losing the internet shouldn’t mean losing your momentum. We want a better relationship between artists and their software.

That’s why we’re building thecreateco: a new generation of creative tools with freedom at the center.

LITE & PRO / OUR PROMISE

Creative freedom.
In both editions.

Making art should stay within reach. That belief shapes how we build Lite and Pro.

THECREATECO LITE

Always free.
Fully capable.

Lite will always remain free and fully capable—a complete place to create, finish and keep your work.

It’s built for real projects, with room to explore and grow. You should be able to keep making with Lite for as long as you want.

Our commitment: creative freedom, without a price of entry.
THECREATECO PRO

More depth.
When you need it.

Pro is where we’re building deeper workflows for more demanding projects and specialized ways of working.

Choosing Pro should be about the extra depth your work needs. Lite will continue to stand on its own as a fully capable creative tool.

Two editions. The same respect for your creativity.

Desktop now. Mobile on the way.

We’re rolling out Pro versions for Windows and Mac, while working to bring our apps to iOS and Android through the App Store and Google Play. Our goal is to give you more freedom to create on the devices you use every day.

Our public apps are still in alpha. Features, offline support and platform availability currently vary by product and build. See what’s available today ↗

02 / UNDER THE HOOD

Art is the reason.
Code is how we get there.

We’ve been coding relentlessly, refining our own editing engines, workspaces and creative workflows. The ambition is big: lightweight software, serious power, and new ways of making that go beyond the industry’s defaults.

There’s a lot happening under the hood. The test that matters is what it lets you create.

01 / FEEL

Less friction.
More flow.

Workspaces that make sense to artists, with the useful controls close to the work.

02 / POWER

Lightweight.
Deeply capable.

Keep pushing performance and capability, so ambitious ideas don’t need a cumbersome process.

03 / FREEDOM

Your work.
Your next move.

Build toward offline independence and portable projects you can keep and come back to.

These are the goals guiding our development. Offline support, features and availability currently vary by product and edition.

03 / A GEM IN THE COLLECTION

Precision.
Meet possibility.

Form Studio brings measured CAD decisions into a familiar, visual 3D workspace. Sketch a profile, give it dimension, refine the geometry and explore its surface.

It’s the kind of combination that keeps us excited: exact dimensions and room to experiment, side by side. From objects and architectural studies to experimental fabric workflows, there’s more than one way to give an idea form.

Explore Form & try a lesson

04 / FOLLOW THE IDEA

Four tools.
Many ways to make.

The Creative Suite is Form, Luma, StemDeck and ScenePilot. An idea can take shape, become an image, find its sound and turn into a film.

A NOTE FROM THE FOUNDER

I wanted more.
So I started building.

I’ve used computers my whole life. Different creative phases took me through After Effects, Photoshop, FL Studio, Blender and Cinema 4D, then djay Pro and Ableton. Different tools for different ways of making.

Along the way, I learned many of these apps deeply. I also kept noticing the features I wished they had—the things that could make creating easier, more powerful or more open.

Eventually, I realized I wanted more. I wanted the best tools I could imagine, while keeping them accessible to everyone. When I realized this was something I could build myself, I went all in. That’s what led me to thecreateco.

MEET JENSEN

Powerful tools.
Simple by design.

I design and build intuitive, powerful creative tools for how creators actually work. My focus is clean design, seamless workflows and technology that helps people bring their ideas to life.

I enjoy turning complex technical challenges into simple, elegant software—so artists, designers and builders can spend more time making.

What I build

Focused tools.
Apps that remove friction, support focus and let the creative process flow.
Modern workflows.
Software with speed, precision and usability at its core.
Tools for creators.
Reliable software shaped around the people who use it and the work they want to make.

05 / BUILT WITH YOUR FEEDBACK

Still building.
With you.

The ambition is real. So are the rough edges.

Our public apps are still in alpha. There are bugs, unfinished features and workflows that need more care. We want you to know where we are, and help us get where we’re going.

Every test, comment, critique and idea can help guide the products. Tell us what you were making, what happened, and what would help you make it better. That’s how we build software that serves artists.

Where do you want to go?
