Browser tool / PUBLIC WEB ALPHA
A beat, sketched on your phone.
Pocket is a phone-first 16-step beat sketchpad: six drum voices plus one bass voice, tempo/swing/key/scale controls, per-step pattern editing and a mixer, with export as a loop or individual stems and a Send to StemDeck handoff.

WHAT IT DOES
Sketch a beat anywhere, on your phone.
Program a 16-step pattern across six drum voices (kick, snare, clap, hat, open, rim) plus one bass voice, right from your phone. Dial in tempo, swing, key and scale, balance everything in the mixer, then export the loop or individual stems — or send the WAVs straight into your StemDeck library with Send to StemDeck.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps to get there.
- 01
Program a 16-step pattern.
Tap in drum and bass hits across six voices plus bass.
- 02
Dial in tempo, swing and the mixer.
Set key and scale, then balance each voice.
- 03
Export or send it to StemDeck.
Download the loop/stems, or add them to your StemDeck library.
HONEST LIMITS
What Pocket doesn't do.
Current limitations
Pocket has one 16-step bar per pattern — no song mode or pattern chaining yet. All sounds are simple Web Audio synthesis, not sampled kits, so it’s built for sketching, not a final mix. Patterns save to localStorage only, so clearing site data deletes them, and phones may need the silent switch off; timing can drift if the tab backgrounds.
One good first test
- 01Tap in a simple kick and hat pattern.
- 02Add a bass line and set the scale.
- 03Send the stems to StemDeck.
