Vox
One take. Pitched, harmonized.
Vox records or drops a solo vocal take, finds its key with YIN-based pitch detection, pulls every note toward the scale with an adjustable-strength PSOLA pitch shifter, and adds a diatonic 3rd or 5th harmony generated from the same take.

WHAT IT DOES
Pitch-correct a vocal and add a harmony.
Record straight into the browser or drop in a clean, solo vocal take up to 3 minutes. Vox detects pitch with a YIN-based tracker, finds the key, and pulls every note toward the scale at a strength you control with a PSOLA pitch shifter. Add a diatonic 3rd or 5th harmony generated from the same take, then export the corrected vocal as WAV.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps to get there.
- 01
Record or drop a solo vocal.
Works best with one clean, monophonic voice — no backing track.
- 02
Set correction strength and harmony.
Dial in how hard the pitch snaps, and pick a 3rd or 5th interval.
- 03
Export the corrected take as WAV.
Processing re-renders offline, in about a second.
HONEST LIMITS
What Vox doesn't do.
Current limitations
Vox needs one clean, solo voice — backing tracks, reverb or polyphonic audio confuse the pitch tracker. There’s no neural pitch model, so large corrections and harmonies can sound phasey or robotic. The harmony is a single voice that moves exactly with the lead, not an independent performance, and processing is offline/batch, not live correction while singing.
One good first test
- 01Record a short a cappella phrase.
- 02Try a light vs. heavy correction strength.
- 03Add a 3rd harmony and export the WAV.
