Browser tool / PUBLIC WEB ALPHA
Board
From script to shot list, fast.
Board turns a screenplay or plain prose into an auto-generated scene and shot list with a guessed shot type, lens and duration for each one. Edit, sketch on, or reorder any shot, then export a PDF/CSV or hand the markers straight to ScenePilot.

WHAT IT DOES
Turn a script into a shot list you can act on.
Paste a screenplay-style script or a plain list of beats, and Board generates scenes and shots with a guessed shot type, lens and duration for each. Shots can be edited, sketched on with a pressure-sensitive pen, given an uploaded reference frame, reordered, duplicated or deleted, across four aspect ratios. Everything autosaves to this browser. Export to Print-to-PDF, CSV, or board JSON, or import the plan into ScenePilot as scene/shot markers plus a shot-list brief.
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps to get there.
- 01
Paste a script or a list of beats.
Board reads headings, character cues and plain prose to find scenes and shots.
- 02
Review and adjust the shot list.
Edit shot type, lens and duration, sketch a frame, or reorder shots.
- 03
Export or import into ScenePilot.
Print to PDF, export CSV, or bring the markers into a ScenePilot timeline.
HONEST LIMITS
What Board doesn't do.
Current limitations
Board's parsing is heuristic — shot type, lens and duration are guesses, not creative decisions. PDF export goes through the browser's print dialog. Sketched frames aren't carried into the editor, only the markers and written brief, and importing a cut replaces the entire open ScenePilot project. This is a public web alpha; features are still changing.
One good first test
- 01Paste a few lines of a script or an outline.
- 02Check the guessed shot types and adjust one.
- 03Export a PDF or import the markers into ScenePilot.
