Canvas
A loop that moves with the track.
Canvas turns a track and optional cover art into a looping, audio-reactive 9:16 video for Spotify Canvas, Reels and TikTok — with scene and palette controls, kick-reactive intensity, and title/artist text overlay, exported as MP4 where the browser supports it or WebM.

WHAT IT DOES
Build a looping visual from your track.
Drop in a track and, optionally, cover art. Choose a scene and palette, set how strongly the visual reacts to the kick, and add a title/artist text overlay. Canvas renders the loop in real time and exports MP4 where the browser supports it, or WebM, optionally with audio baked in for Reels and TikTok (Spotify Canvas itself needs the loop silent).
HOW IT WORKS
Three steps to get there.
- 01
Drop in a track and optional cover art.
Canvas reads the audio to drive the visual.
- 02
Pick a scene, palette and kick sensitivity.
Preview the loop reacting to the track in real time.
- 03
Export MP4 or WebM.
Bake in audio for Reels/TikTok, or keep it silent for Spotify Canvas.
HONEST LIMITS
What Canvas doesn't do.
Current limitations
Recording runs in real time — an 8-second loop takes 8 seconds to render, and the tab has to stay visible. Firefox records WebM only, so since Spotify Canvas needs MP4, that means a manual conversion step for Firefox users. The loop restarts with the audio and there’s no crossfade yet, so pick the loop start on a downbeat. Kick detection is a simple low-band onset detector that can miss or double-count busy or soft basslines.
One good first test
- 01Drop in a short track with a clear kick.
- 02Pick a scene and palette.
- 03Export an 8-second loop as MP4 or WebM.
