Use invite-only chats and blocking controls. Public channels are discoverable, with house rules and host controls. Edit your shared profile in Community. NOW’s data controls affect its conversations and rooms; your Community posts and earlier inbox remain separate.
Know what “disappearing” means.
Timer changes apply to new messages. Recipients can save a copy before expiry. NOW is not end-to-end encrypted; the service operator can access unexpired messages.

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW
Before your first hello.
Is NOW a separate app from The Circle?
NOW opens as its own app for live channels, group cameras, private chats and PictoChat. The Circle keeps community posts, music and Sessions. Your Community profile and sign-in carry into NOW. Earlier chat histories remain in their original inboxes.
Can I start without an account?
You can browse and use a browser guest to take part in conversations without email. Sign in to upload videos, music and other media. Clearing browser data can lose guest access, so don’t treat a guest session as a recoverable account.
Where are my earlier chats?
Your existing NOW chats remain in NOW’s Messages area. Previous Circle messages and the original Circle inbox remain under Older conversations in The Circle’s Messages area. The histories have not been merged.
What do I need to download?
Open the social hub in your browser. NOW is a public web alpha; there is no separate public desktop or mobile installer.
