An artist press kit example that keeps facts easy to verify
A useful press kit lets a reader understand the project and open the relevant work quickly. Choose a concise factual bio and a few tested links before polishing the layout.

A small example to work through
Our fictional artist is North Window, an instrumental duo releasing an original demo called First Light. These are invented editorial examples, not real releases, endorsements or booking claims.
| Item | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| One-line bio | Instrumental duo exploring quiet electronic sketches | No invented awards |
| Featured work | First Light — original demo | Replace with your real listening URL |
| Contact | Your chosen public contact route | Do not invent an address |

Use the blank observation and decision fields to record your own result. These downloads are planning worksheets; they do not load an app project or demonstrate a completed export.
Try it and inspect the result
- Open Press and replace the fictional fields with your own confirmed facts. Keep a short bio, a photo with permission and a small selection of work.
- Review the chosen layout on a phone-sized screen. Make the most useful listening link easy to find and avoid duplicated contact information.
- Export through available HTML or PDF controls. Open the saved kit independently and test every link before sharing it.
When the result differs
- Kit is too long
- Remove repeated biography and low-priority links before reducing text size.
- Links work only in preview
- Test the exported document; paths and permissions may differ.
- Local draft disappeared
- Keep exported copies independently; the tool does not provide a cloud backup or host the kit.
What this example establishes
The downloadable content brief is a worksheet, not a hosted artist page or a Press output. This guide does not send messages or collect leads. Replace placeholders with verified facts and an actual destination before publication.
This page supplies a worked example and a review method. It does not report a newly completed end-to-end app test. For current availability and edition details, read the Press overview.
