How to review an audio-reactive video export
An audio-reactive preview can look smooth while the saved video has missing sound or an abrupt boundary. Separate design review from export review.

A small example to work through
Our original eight-second visual plan uses two bars at 120 BPM twice: a title introduction, a brighter response section, then a return to the opening state.
| Item | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 0–2 s | Introduce title | Check legibility |
| 2–4 s | Increase visual response | Avoid obscuring title |
| 4–6 s | Repeat with variation | Check audio stays aligned |
| 6–8 s | Return to opening state | Inspect repeat seam |

Use the blank observation and decision fields to record your own result. These downloads are planning worksheets; they do not load an app project or demonstrate a completed export.
Try it and inspect the result
- Open Canvas with audio you can use and optional artwork. Choose readable title and artist text before increasing visual activity.
- Preview the planned segment while listening. Check that a strong response does not hide the title or important artwork.
- Try a short export with the tab visible. Open the saved file in a player and check dimensions, duration, sound and end-to-start continuity.
When the result differs
- Saved video has no sound
- Check the actual output track and export settings rather than trusting preview audio.
- Motion stutters
- Retest a shorter segment with the tab visible; browser encoding and real-time playback affect the result.
- Loop jumps
- Compare the last displayed state with the opening state, including title position and background.
What this example establishes
This timing worksheet is not an encoded Canvas result. Check current upload requirements at your intended destination separately; a good local file does not guarantee platform acceptance.
